Jacob Dore Heads To Northeast Motorsports Expo This Weekend

Valenti Modified Racing Series driver Jacob Dore, of Sanford, ME., hits the winter racecar show circuit this weekend when he visits the 23rd annual Northeast Motorsports Expo and Trade Show. The popular three-day event will take place at the Augusta Civic Center, Augusta, Maine.

The show opens on Friday, January 7 at 5:00 PM and runs through Sunday January 9 at 3:00 PM.

Dore, the 2009 Koszela Speed Rookie of the Year, will be on hand throughout the weekend with his family owned and prepared racecar meeting and greeting fans.

This weekend’s event is the first of four off-season racing shows the VMRS will participate at this winter. January 28th through the 30th will find the series at the annual Frank Maratta Auto Show at Hartford, CT., at the Racin Preview in Portland, ME., Feb 25 & 26, and at the Racers Expo, Marlborough, MA., also Feb.25 & 26.

The 2011 season opens April 2 & 3 at the Waterford, CT Speedbowl. To date, 43 race teams have pre-registered for the new season.
